What A Joke!

I came across this gold privilege card to the Bandar Golden Valley Golf Resort while rummaging through the files and thought I should include this in the blog just to lighten the mood, although it is a serious matter for the developer to issue flashy cards that have no value. How can Yeng Chong Realty Bhd issue such a card when the resort is non-existent? Many purchasers had believed that the golf club adjacent to the land were part of the property, only to realise later when they visited the club that it had nothing to do with Yeng Chong. It has been 11 years and we are still waiting for the privilege of using the golf resort. It's a laugh really, being given membership to a non-existent place! We are anxiously waiting for the Attorney-General's office to make a decision on the police investigation to our report.

Case with AG's office

Hello folks! We had a productive day yesterday and have some updates for you. First the good news. We finally got a meeting with the police officers in charge of the case and they told us that they had completed their investigations. They have submitted their report to the Attorney-General's office on July 7, 2010. We pray and hope that the AG's office will deliberate on the case soon. Our next stop was the office of the Malaysia Building Society Bhd (MBSB). An officer in charge of the case said they were to meet Yeng Chong Realty Bhd soon, in a session to be mediated by a judge. They claimed that Yeng Chong owed them RM850 million for two different projects. We were also told that Yeng Chong lodged a police report against MBSB shortly after our police reports. Unfortunately, we were not privy to the contents of the report. Finally, the surprise of the day! We attempted to get Yeng Chong's side of the story and so we visited Yeng Chong's office in Excella Business Park. And what do we know? The whole place was locked. There was a big steel door there and nobody answered the bell. As we were leaving, we asked a guard what had happened. The guard said that Yeng Chong had moved office a week earlier, but informed no one where they were going! We, the purchasers, have also not been told of the new address.
